About Derrick Marple, NP

Derrick Marple is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to patients across various settings. With a diverse background in nursing and extensive experience in both clinical practice and education, Derrick brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role.

Derrick earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Ohio University, building upon his Bachelor of Science in Nursing also from Ohio University. He began his nursing journey with an Associate Degree in Nursing from Clark State Community College, followed by additional certifications and training in EMS and paramedicine.

Prior to his current roles, Derrick gained valuable experience as a Nurse at the London Correctional Institution, where he managed medical care and emergencies for a large inmate population. He also served as a Medical Operations Supervisor and RN at CSL Plasma, ensuring donor safety and compliance with medical guidelines.

Derrick holds multiple certifications, including State of Ohio APRN-FNP License, AANP Certification, DEA License, NPI Number, and various life support certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS.

In his free time, Derrick enjoys staying active in his community and continuing his education to provide the highest level of care to his patients.
