Deshawn Harris is an accomplished Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years of experience in nursing, specializing in geriatric medicine and family primary care. He earned his Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner focus from Chamberlain University, where he also completed a Master of Science in Nursing Education.

Throughout his career, Deshawn has demonstrated expertise in acute and chronic disease management, preventative care, and specialized treatment for alcohol and opioid addiction. His broad experience spans hospitalist roles, post-acute rehabilitation, and community health centers, allowing him to provide comprehensive care across diverse settings. Deshawn is committed to improving patient outcomes through personalized care and close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Deshawn is skilled in managing emergency medical procedures, including Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and has a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. He is dedicated to fostering trust and positive relationships with patients to enhance their quality of life.

When he’s not providing exceptional care, Deshawn enjoys mentoring other healthcare professionals, leveraging his background in nursing education to inspire the next generation of clinicians.
