About Dr. Akbik
Humam Akbik, MD, brings almost three decades of experience as a seasoned practitioner in the field of interventional pain management. He employs a multidisciplinary approach in his care, assisting each patient in achieving optimal pain relief by integrating medical, interventional, and complementary therapies tailored to their unique needs. His specialties encompass minimally invasive spine surgery, personalized cancer pain treatment, and the management of acute and chronic conditions such as neck and back pain, headaches, spinal stenosis, and diabetic neuropathy.
Dr. Akbik extends his services to patients in the Fairfield/Cincinnati area and abroad, engaging in medical mission trips to Jordan since 2012. His commitment to aiding patients in Syria prompted the establishment of a nonprofit organization named Atlantic Humanitarian Relief.
