New Surgery Center in Evansville Earns ‘Top Tier’ Accreditation

The Evansville Surgery Center, a new ambulatory center, recently earned accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
The Evansville Surgery Center began seeing patients in March and April last year, and just recently earned accreditation from the AAAHC, which is the highest form of accreditation an ambulatory center can receive, according to Dr. Joseph Rutledge, medical director of the center.
